Schedule an appointment. Book time with me on my calendar.
Send me what you’re working on in advance. I’ll review your work ahead of time and take notes that will guide our consultation. Please send your writing in a Google Doc if possible.
Join the call. I can’t wait to meet you! In the consultation, we’ll cover your broad goals, where your writing shines, what could be improved, and what your next steps are.
After the call: I’ll send over a summary of what we covered and accomplished (along with tons of encouragement).

About Me 🌺
Hi! I’m Hayley—coffee drinker, cat lover, professional question-asker, and lifelong writer.
While studying literature and creative writing in college, I worked as a writing consultant, guiding students through the different stages of the writing process. My first full-time jobs were editorial positions—one for a print magazine, the other for a digital sustainability brand. During these years, I gained invaluable experience interviewing subject matter experts, crafting stories, hiring freelancers, implementing SEO strategies, and collaborating with colleagues.
After I was laid off from my job in 2023, I took a contract position as a content manager and freelance team leader. I didn’t know it then, but that was when my self-employment journey began.
Now I’m returning to my roots as a consultant, excited to work one-on-one with freelancers, writers, and business owners.
As media and tech landscapes continue to shift, I want creative professionals to be prepared to adapt while holding on to their creative spirits. My goal is to help writers (and their words) succeed—whether that means getting that new job, finishing the first draft of your novel, or starting a new creative project entirely yours. 🌻
